He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph H. Clause, Sr. and Elizabeth Daly Clause; his wife Florence Levers Clause; and his siblings, Joseph Clause, Diana Marie Youncofski and Gertrude Audrey Clause.

He is survived by: his daughter Donna Clause (Timothy Moriarty) of West Allenhurst. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
