He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Joseph Kobus, Sr. and Edith O'Neil Kobus; and his brother Richard Kobus. He is survived by: his wife Marietta Cosentino Kobus; his children, Brendan Kobus, Justin Kobus and Jamie Schrafft; and his grandsons, Jack, Christopher, Dylan, Patrick, James and Bryce.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to St. Jude and The Ronald McDonald House.
