He was predeceased by: his parents, Janet Hedwig and Walter Clement Kania. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Elizabeth Lembo, Robin Salas, Tory Kania, Katie Minarick and Nina Bontempo; his grandchildren, Brady, William Lembo, Ella, Maya Salas, John Minarick and Jack Bontempo; and his siblings, Chris Kania and Kathy DeMaio.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Paul Ippolito Berkeley Memorial (646 Springfield Ave, Berkeley Heights, NJ 07922). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
