He was predeceased by: his parents, Sophie Penszynksi and Boleslaw "Benjamin" Penszynksi; his wife Mary E. Penn (NJ); and his siblings, Eugene "Lem" Pensyznski, Helen Mason and Irene Jankowski.

He is survived by: his sons, John T. Penn and Robert T. "Bob" Penn (Evelyn); and his grandson Thomas "Tom" Penn.
