He was predeceased by: his parents, Olaf Huseland and Agnes Huseland; and his former wife Marion Larsen. He is survived by: his wife Martha Smith; and his children, Roger Huseland (Barbara), Sondra Lathrop (Eric), Randall Huseland, Pamela Schweizer (Karl), John Smith (Bonnie), Glen Smith (Jodi) and Marta Russell (James). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to either St. Paul's United Methodist Church or Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association, Ocean Grove, NJ.
