It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Schimmenti of Berkeley Heights, New Jersey, who passed away on January 22, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Giuseppe Schimmenti; her sons, Salvatore Schimmenti and Joseph Schimmenti; and her parents, Giuseppe Onorato and Francesca Onorato.
She is survived by: her daughter Anna Maria Kupchack (John) of Cedar Grove; her daughters-in-law, Sandra Nardone Schimmenti Quigley and Grace Basile; her grandchildren, Cristina Redmerski (Robbie), Alicia Kupchack (Michael Carbone), Michael Kupchack, Joseph, Salvatore, Alexander, Angelo and Julia Schimmenti; her sister Rosa Onorato (Giovanni Patina) of Italy; her sister-in-law Maria Stella Schimmenti (late Gaetano Gangi) of Italy; and her nieces and nephews, Maria Teresa Patina (Marco Nigrelli) of Italy and Giancarlo Patina of Italy.
