It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Magdalene Torres of Berkeley Heights, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on January 9, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Kubo and Joseph Kubo; her husband George J. Torres; and her siblings, Joseph, Elizabeth, Mary, Helen, John and Rose.

She is survived by: her children, G. Robert Torres, Karen Whitlock, Diane Torres and Ellen Steiner; and her grandchildren, Sarah, Ian, Maggie, Clare, Emma, Alex and Max. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
