Ludmyla Pochtar Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ludmyla Pochtar in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey, who passed away on October 13, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Ludmyla shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Ludmyla farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Mykhailo (Michael); her brother Walter; and her son Andrey. She is survived by: her daughter Anna Maria (Nick). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home (155 South Ave, Fanwood, NJ 07023). A prayer was held on Friday, October 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Holy Ascension (652 Irvington Ave, Maplewood, NJ 07040). A graveside service was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St. Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery (280 Main St, South Bound Brook, NJ 08880).
