He was predeceased by: his son Stephen Jr.. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn; his son Michael (Jenn); his grandchildren, Madden and Maci; his daughter Elyse (Greg); his brother Joe (Aggie); his nephew Joey; his sister Mary (Keith); his niece Steph; and his nephew Keith Jr..

A memorial service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Cain Calcutt Funeral Home (512 2nd Loop Rd, Florence, SC 29505). Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mr. Marino's name to the American Brain Tumor Association.
