As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Dorothea Marie may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Wirth and Marie Wirth (Schneidenbach); and her husband Heinz Janzen. She is survived by: her sisters, Ruth Sauter of Doylestown and Margaret Diemer (Richard) of New Harmony, Indiana; and her children, Pete Janzen (Debra) of Wichita, Margaret Hildebrand (Charlie) of Morden, Manitoba and Mary Janzen of State College, Pennsylvania. She is also survived by four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bethel College Mennonite Church (2600 College Ave, North Newton, KS 67117).
