He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas F. Ritter and Mary Atwood Ritter. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Cullen Ritter; his children, Gregory and Sarah; and his siblings, Christopher, Nicholas, Abigail, Deborah and Benjamin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
