He is survived by: his wife Janice Lilley of Belvidere, NJ; his son Walter Lilley of Woodbridge, NJ; his stepchildren, Susan Phelan (Richard) of Summit, NJ, James Westervelt of Colorado Springs, CO and Timothy Westervelt (Jeanmarie) of Rutherford, NJ.; and his sisters, Louise Robertson (Eldon) of Richmond, VA and Kathryn Tensen (Nicholas) of Hamilton, MA..

Jan and Rob hosted me for a summer while I was in graduate school and I helped Rob build a darkroom. I am so very sorry to hear of his passing and he will be sorely missed.
