He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce (Vargas); his parents, Joseph Valecz and Edith Valecz (Bush); his sister Kathleen Valecz; and his pet Maggie.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jodi Valecz (Jay) and Terri Finnegan (Mike); his stepdaughter Becky Gliganic (Matt); and his grandchildren, Kira and Brady Finnegan.
