She was predeceased by: her parents, John M. Melchor and Rose L. Melchor; her siblings, Rose Marie Garis and John M. Melchor Jr.; and her daughter-in-law Deborah Hoyt.
She is survived by: her husband Earl M. Hoyt; her sisters, Susan Hoffman and Judy Melchor; her children, Gary (Kathleen) of Belvidere, Linda (Jeffrey) of St. Augustine, Frank of Belvidere and John of Belvidere; her grandchildren, Steven Strait, Melissa Strait, Ellen Duveneck, Rachel Chiara and Matthew Hoyt; and her great grandchildren, Luca, Emma, Gino Chiara, Lena and Nathan Duveneck. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
