We bid farewell to George Heyer of Belvidere, New Jersey, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 17, 2024 at the age of 77. George touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Heyer and Shirley Sozanski Heyer; his stepfather Steven Sozanski; and his siblings, Mary Heyer and Russell Heyer.
He is survived by: his wife June Minchin Heyer; his children, Emmy Lu Minchin-Slack of Phillipsburg, NJ, Elizabeth Mantega (Davide) of France and Robert Heyer (Krista) of Phillipsburg, NJ; his sister Diane Bigelow of Harmony Township, NJ; and his grandsons, Sebastian Stanton and Marco Mantega.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Finegan Funeral Home (302 Heckman St, Phillipsburg, NJ 08865). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of George to the Harmony Presbyterian church, 2727 Belvidere Rd., Phillipsburg, NJ. 08865.
