He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Fox Hay and Constance Walters of Virginia. He is survived by: his wife Mildred Norman Hay (Milly); his children, Mary Yetter (Andrew), Edward Hay (Catherine Zombory) and Kristine Phipany (Mark); his grandchildren, David Phipany, Joseph Phipany, Samantha Hay and Edward Hay; his great grandchild Lydia Phipany; and his brother William Hay (Rose).
