She was predeceased by: her parents, James Clifford and Hazel May Mills (LaBarre); her husband William "Bill" Smickle; her brother William; and her son-in-law Dennis Romain.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Romain of Morristown, NJ, Jane Kartzman (Steve) of Randolph, NJ, Jill Csovelak (Jim) of Forks Township, PA and Christine Pohl (Rich) of White Township, NJ; her grandchildren, Lisa, Laura Romain (Neil Templeton), Adam (Tara Sherry), Matthew Kartzman, Lucas (Abbie Trone), Marissa Csovelak (Steven Heberle) and Richard Pohl (Taryn); and her great grandchildren, Matthew Templeton, Addisyn, Kendall Kartzman, Logan, Sebastian Csovelak, Wyatt Heberle, Bryce and Andrew Pohl. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the MacFadden Funeral Home (325 Hardwick St, Belvidere, NJ 07823). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
