It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine E. Martignetti of Belmar, New Jersey, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on November 7, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Josephine departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Josephine may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Josephine leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward DeMaio and Angelina DeMaio; her husband Eugene; and her brothers, Joseph and Edward DeMaio.
She is survived by: her children, Robert (Laurie Martignetti) of Delray Beach, FL., Gerard "Chet" (Christine Martignetti) of Wall Twp and Cynthia (John Roeslein) of High Ridge, MO; and her sister Margaret Campanile of Neptune City. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Rose Church (603 7th Ave, Belmar, NJ 07719).
