He was predeceased by: his parents, Gloria Sherman and Harry Sherman; and his siblings, Janice Manganillo, Harry, Howard and Paul Sherman.
He is survived by: his wife Marylou V. Sherman; his sons, Joseph Sherman and Adam Sherman Sr.; his grandchildren, Adam Sherman Jr. and Jaclyn Brooks; and his sisters, Judy Myers, Gay Murry and Tracey Stickler. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
