He was predeceased by: his parents, William Eggers and Anne Marie "Nancy" Eggers. He is survived by: his significant other Phyllis; his children, Kelly, Jamey, Billy (Sabrina), Kristy (Ron), Pop, Drew, Devon, Emily and Alivia; and his siblings, JoAnn Warrick (Lynn), Nancy Cowan (Bobby), Danny Eggers (Lil) and Joey Eggers. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

Farewell Tribute In honor of Shorty's careful nature surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, his memorial service will be held privately on Monday January 25th.
