She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles McCarthy and Eileen McCarthy; her brother Charles (Marge); and her daughter Eileen Dirkes (Ronald). She is survived by: her sisters, Mary Traynor (Joe) and Joanne Kain (Joe); her husband James Patrick Shields; and her children, Diane Marroletti (John), James P. (Donna) and John (Cheryl). She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish St. Luke Church (55 Warwick Rd, Stratford, NJ 08084). A Mass was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Luke (55 Warwick Rd, Stratford, NJ 08084). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM at the New Saint Mary Cemetery (515 W Browning Rd, Bellmawr, NJ 08031).
