He is survived by: his wife Aggeliki; his children, Persephone Papafagos (Demetrios), Ermioni Athanasatos (Nicholas) and Angela Santiago (Emaus); his grandchildren, Olivia, Niko, Aria, Kosta and Nia; and his siblings, Lefteris Tzakis and Koula Dorizas.
