He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy V. DeRose; his parents, Anthony DeRose and Anna DeRose; and his siblings, Louise Crowley, Camille DiBella (Bob), Tina Petrucci, James DeRose (Olympia) and Louis DeRose (Ann).
He is survived by: his children, Karen DeRose and Joseph DeRose, Jr.; his sister Edith Amato (Sonny); and his parents-in-law, Virginia Hanna, Joe, Christine Amato, Frank, Barbara Amato and Robert Amato. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
