He is survived by: his siblings, Michael Messina of Toms River, Karmel Ann Cifrodello of Jackson, Deana Nisivoccia of Bloomfield and Kathy Cooney of Toms River; his former wife Maria Messina; his children, James (Natasha Messina) and Christine (Joseph Walsh); and his grandchildren, Brianna, James, Joseph, Lia Messina, Gavin and Declan Walsh.
