He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stanton and Madeline Stanton; and his siblings, Jack, Tom Stanton and Doris Colalillo.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne; his children, Kathleen Cocliff (Ed), William Stanton (Mary Lou), Rose Abeal (Ralph) and Neil Stanton; and his grandchildren, Billy Stanton (Maria), Vanessa Donaway (Tom), Justin Coecliff (Stephanie), Cindy Bento (Surge), Janina, Ralphie Abeal and Sean Cocliff.
