He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Heuschkel of Ovarian Cancer; his father Josef Buchwald; his stepfather Gerard Durand; and his mother Theresa Durand (Buchwald). He is survived by: his daughter Susan Milo (Michael); his grandchildren, David Milo (Lauren Winigrad) and Elizabeth Milo (Anthony Nadino); his son Walter Raymond Buchwald (Jessica Royte-Newcomb); his granddaughter Kimberly Esposito (Robert); his son Eric Buchwald (Jessica); his granddaughter Linda Ryan (Jack); and his sister-in-law Dorothy Dickie. He is also survived by her children and grandchildren.
