He was predeceased by: his parents, John McGurty and Margaret McGurty. He is survived by: his wife Barbara McGurty; his daughter Heather Verbel of Belford; his son-in-law Joshua Verbel of Belford; his son Jeffrey McGurty of Hazlet; his daughter-in-law Denise McGurty of Hazlet; his sisters, Kathy Stuppi of Iselin and Maureen Schwartz of Australia; and his grandchildren, Aiden, Jack, Samantha and Connor.
