He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Berweiler and Virginia Berweiler. He is survived by: his wife Jean Berweiler; his grandchildren, Patrick, Alexandra, Joseph, Nancy, Ryan, Grace and James; and his sister Kathy Dugan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
