She was predeceased by: her husband Elmer "Al" Berends. She is survived by: her sons-in-law, Dorrie Morin, Al Morin of Indiana, Carol Ann, Pete VanMater of Freehold, Norma Jean, Joe Thomas of Freehold, Betty Jo and Mike Anghelone of Belford; her siblings, Shirley Therien, Clarence "Corpy" Miller and Russell Miller; and also Allen (Cindy Berends) of Michigan.
