With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Annette Smithson in Belford, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 20, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willemma Winters (Smith) and Russell Winters; her brothers, Arthur, William and Joseph Jensen; her husband Richard Sr.; and her daughter Sharon L. Pyle of Middletown, NJ..
She is survived by: her children, Richard P. Smithson Jr. (Jo-Ann) of Whiting, NJ and Susan E. Karl (Michael) of Little Silver, NJ.; her grandchildren, Richard III, James, David, Jill, Ryan, Christopher and Patrick; and her great grandchildren, Lauren, Tyler, Joshua, Hope, Noel, Zachary, Addy, Annika, Aylin, Kaley, Mackenzie, Ariana, Caden, Caroline and Casey. She is also survived by her three children, she had 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thompson Memorial (310 Broad St, Red Bank, NJ 07701). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Thompson Memorial Home (310 Broad St, Red Bank, NJ 07701).
