It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James J. McMahon Jr. of Beachwood, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on January 6, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James J., Sr. and Mary McMahon (Ritter); his wife Carol McMahon (Meyer); his children, Patrick McMahon and Kaila (Jay Reilly); his siblings, Karen (Gary Sedore), Ellen McMahon, Brian (Kathy McMahon) and Kevin (Lisa McMahon); and his grandchildren, Charlotte Reilly, Jaxson McMahon and Cameron Reilly. He was also cherished by numerous loving nieces, nephews, extended family.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carmona Bolen Home For Funerals (412 Main St, Toms River, NJ 08753). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph RC Church (685 Hooper Ave, Toms River, NJ 08753).

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Coast Guard Auxiliary, Tunnels to Towers, Wounded Warrior Foundation, Folds of Honor, or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
