It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James J. McMahon Jr. of Beachwood, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on January 6, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James J., Sr. and Mary McMahon (Ritter); his wife Carol McMahon (Meyer); his children, Patrick McMahon and Kaila (Jay Reilly); his siblings, Karen (Gary Sedore), Ellen McMahon, Brian (Kathy McMahon) and Kevin (Lisa McMahon); and his grandchildren, Charlotte Reilly, Jaxson McMahon and Cameron Reilly. He was also cherished by numerous loving nieces, nephews, extended family.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Coast Guard Auxiliary, Tunnels to Towers, Wounded Warrior Foundation, Folds of Honor, or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
