He was predeceased by: his siblings, Stanley, Jim, Don, Ray and Bernie (Bernadette); and his parents, Stanley and Sophie (Sophia Mielach).
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Murdock Stives; his children, Patricia Napurano (Patti) of Toms River, NJ and Robert Stives (Amy) of Palm Coast, FL.; his stepchildren, Jodi Jones of Howell, NJ and John Jones of Higganum, CT; and his siblings, Edward and Eloise (Dias). He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
