It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Peter S. Evert of Beach Haven, New Jersey, who passed away on August 31, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Rita M. Evert (Moore); his parents, W. Brooks Evert and Dorothy Evert; and his sisters, Constance Bring and Barbara Whitbred.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Neely (Stephen Neely), Karen Janiszewski (Mark Janiszewski) and Steve Evert (Sarah Evert); his grandchildren, Stephen, Kristin Neely, CJ, Bryan Janiszewski, Shane and Reese Evert; and his great grandchildren, Parker and Sadie Neely. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Jersey Conservation Foundation toward the Evert Trail Preserve at njconservation.org or to the Riverton Fire Company in memory of Pete Evert at rivertonfirecompany.org.
