It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arleen A. Bates of Beach Haven, New Jersey, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 22, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Beach Haven; her husband James Raymond Bates Jr.; her son Scot Bates; and her brother Robert D. Macari. She is survived by: her sons, James III, Bruce and David Craig; her grandchildren, James IV, Dylan, Kolton, Madison, Alaia, Amais, Noah, Matthew and Alejandro; and her great grandchild Gemma Rose.
