He was predeceased by: his father Patrick J. Burns; his brother John; and his son-in-law John Huss. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Patrick and Francesca; his grandchildren, Amanda Burns, John (Jack), Ava and Patrick Huss; and his brother William.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Caggiano Memorial (62 Grove St, Montclair, NJ 07042). A Mass was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel (94 Pine St, Montclair, NJ 07042).
