She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Nicholson and Gertrude Nicholson; her husband Gustav; her children, Kevin Schreier (Susan), Mary Jacobs (Willie), Ellen Giles (Richard) and Kristen Montague (Christopher); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Schreier, Claudia Schreier, Braedon Giles and Lexi Jacobs; and her brothers, James Nicholson and Robert Nicholson.
