With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wieslaw Kowalski in Bayonne, New Jersey, who passed away on February 5, 2024 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Wieslaw's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Wieslaw's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as his find rest in the embrace of eternity.

He is survived by: his son Robert Kowalski; his daughter-in-law Mary Lou Kowalski; his granddaughter Alexandra; and his siblings, Grazyna, Zosia and Idek. He is also survived by his extended family in Poland; and cousins and friends.

“Wes was my Senior Driver on the overnight team. He has always been a well of knowledge for my newer drivers in the fleet. Having so many years on the road proved invaluable in mentoring his teammates. We have decals on the office wall depicting the beginning of the JB Hunt journey and it displays the early trucks that were used. To have someone that actually drove those trucks all the way up to the modern units used today is a testament to Wes' longstanding career. May his soul rest in peace.”
