He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sally Colasurdo (D'Agui); his son Vito Colasurdo, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Sarah Colasurdo; his sister Lois Ceraolo (Fanny); his parents, Amelia Colasurdo (Mastromonaco) and Louis Colasurdo; his siblings, MaryAnn Kelder, Louis and Angelo; and his pets, Dudley and Murphy.
