It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theresa Szwandrak of Bayonne, New Jersey, who passed away on March 15, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Theresa Szwandrak to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her father Rocco; and her brothers, Anthony Grassano and Joseph Grassano. She is survived by: her husband Peter Szwandrak; her children, Bernadette (Paul Montera) of Milford, NJ and Peter Szwandrak, Jr. (Tara) of Flemington; her siblings, Rose (Robert Ernst) and Cosmo Grassano; and her grandchildren, Amanda (Christopher Runge), Alyssa Montera, Matthew Montera, Justin Szwandrak and Gabriella Szwandrak.
A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church (105 Summer Rd, Three Bridges, NJ 08887). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the St. Magdalen Cemetery (94 N Main St, Flemington, NJ 08822). A burial was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the same location.
