He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Atanasia Millado and Mayor Alfonso Tongson of Sta; his wife Suellen; his children, Pearl, Shirley, Anne and Joseph; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Jan, Madison, Solomon, Skylar, David and Atanasia; and his siblings, Alfonso Jr. (Marilyn), Corazon Tongson-Miraflor (Artemio), Milagros Tongson-Villamaria (Edmundo), Juan Tongson (Ann), Dr. Virgilio Tongson (Marlyn), Thelma Tongson-Rivera (Bobby), Mario Tongson (Rebecca), Marrieta Tongson, Teresa Tongson (Deepak) and Jessica Tongson (John).
