Robert Zietek Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Zietek of Bayonne, New Jersey, who passed away on October 30, 2020, at the age of 34, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Grazyna Zietek and Boleslaw Zietek; his sister Barbara Zietek; his aunt Valeria Toczynski; and his close friend Jessi Dunham.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert's memory may be made to St. John Paul II Parish or a charity of your choice.

We often talked about where we wished to end up in life and Rob shared with me some of his goals in life and I hope that he is still able to achieve those goals in whatever afterlife may be present. I hope his loved ones can find comfort in the thought that this is not a "goodbye," but perhaps a "see you later."”

“Part 2/4 I remember being a hostess and just trying to pass the time by doodling and Rob was in awe of some of the drawings I did which meant, and still means, a lot to me. I remember giving him a doodle of a puppy and he folded it and kept it in his work pocket - at least for the duration of time that I worked with him - it was a very simplistic, yet sweet and meaningful gesture to me. I also remember how excited he was when I gave him and another coworker some doughnuts from Dunkin Donuts -”

“Part 1/4 Rob and I were not close by any means, but I am devastated to hear of his passing. We worked briefly together at L'Allegria as I was only there for a short period of time. Rob always made me laugh and always helped me out when I needed it. He came off hard, but he really was a sweet guy that always stepped up when I needed him to. He would always jump up behind me to startle me which in turn always made the work day a little bit more fun.”
