It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Tonnesen of Bayonne, New Jersey, born in Neptune, New Jersey, who passed away on September 28, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Brugger Dominic and Robert Plenser Tonnesen; his brother James Sigvald Tonnesen; his sister-in-law Christine Ryan; and his daughter Barbara Skulnik.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Tonnesen; his children, Robert John Tonnesen and Carol Dencker; his son-in-law Scott Dencker; his grandchildren, Ambur Dencker and Daniel Skulnik; his siblings-in-law, Patricia Tonnesen, Neices Jaclyn, Lara Tonnesen and Anthony Ryan; and his nephew Anthony Ryan.
