He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Marie Nugent; his parents, Helen Nugent and Richard Nugent; and his sisters, Mary Butler, Helen Pitlick and Ethel Leonard.
He is survived by: his son Richard M. Nugent; his daughter-in-law Joan; and his grandchildren, Clare, Kate, Evan, Gavin and Annemarie Nugent. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
