He was predeceased by: his mother Georgette VandeVelde; his stepfather Edmund VandeVelde; and his sisters, Lillian Campo, Louise Gearity and Frances Cameron.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen Ganley Tanskey; his son Richard T. Tanskey of Woodbridge; and his brother Robert Tanskey of Edison. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (44 Green St, Woodbridge Township, NJ 07095).
