He was predeceased by: his siblings, Sigmund Bitwinski, Edward Bitwinski and Marie Siwiec. He is survived by: his wife Cecilia Bitwinski; his children, Peter Bitwinski, John Bitwinski (Sue), Robert Bitwinski, Gerard Bitwinski, Catherine Murray (Bill) and Mary Ann Wolenski; his husband Stanley; his grandchildren, Todd Wolenski (Michele), Adam Wolenski (Kirsten), Christopher Murray, Lauren Murray, Brenda Azocar (Fabian) and Jessica Bitwinski; and his great grandchildren, Jesse, Alex, Desmond, Rory, Kyle and Eric. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Richard's memory may be made to Center for Hope Hospice at Father Hudson House, 111 DeHart Place, Elizabeth, NJ 07202.
