He was predeceased by: his parents, John Egan and Florence Egan (Ellison); his wife Dolores; his grandson Joshuah Egan; and his son-in-law Edward Struszczyk.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Egan (Despina) of Manalapan, Richard Egan (Lisa) of Toms River, John Egan (Elizabeth) of Howell, Laura Struszczyk of Brick, Caroline Grom (Thomas) of Howell and Karen Giaconelli (Anthony) of Millington; and his sisters, Patricia Baber (Michael) of Bayonne, Barbara Kearney (James) of Kearny and Maureen Bellia (Gino) of Bayonne. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
