He is survived by: his children, Marilyn Carpena, Michele Carpena, Melanie Augello and Marc Carpena; his children-in-law, Thomas Augello and Viannee W. Zabala-Carpena; and his grandchildren, Charlotte Mariño, Bossuet Mariño, Marcos Gabriel Carpena, Adelyn Maricela Carpena, Ava Corrine Augello and Michael Gianluca Augello. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
