She was predeceased by: her mother Ellen Whittaker-Brown. She is survived by: her children, Deanna Walker-Pierce and Sean Walker; her grandchildren, Latoya Walker and Eden Pierce; her great grandchild Lateja Francis; her siblings, Selbourne Brown (Did), Lewis Brown and Dorothy Carter; her nieces and nephews, Winston Salmon (Winty), Joseph Salmon (Tony), Veronica McFarlane (Vor), Pauline Salmon, Denise Brown (Rosy) and Mary Wallen (Venice); and her close friend Raphael Walker.
