He was predeceased by: his parents, Loretta Nelson and Herbert Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Eric, Jr. and Tracy (James); his stepsons, Gregory (Andreia) and Evan (Marisabel); his siblings, Denise, Lori, Herbert (Elaine) and James (Lynn); and his pets, Lou and George. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. (854 Avenue C, Bayonne, NJ 07002). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:45 AM at the St. Henry's Church (645 Avenue C, Bayonne, NJ 07002). A burial will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Fairview Cemetery (1100 E Broad St, Westfield, NJ 07090).
