He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Murphy and William Murphy. He is survived by: his wife MaryAnne Murphy; his children, Maryanne Parks, Edward "Cliff" Murphy (Kim), Eileen Ettinger (Stephen), Catherine Johnson (Gregory) and Michael Murphy (Anne); his grandchildren, Michael Parks, Christal Abo, Cheryl Murphy-Pradhan, Charlotte Houlihan, Kevin, Megan Ettinger, Ryan and Brandon Murphy; and his great grandchildren, Aidan, Declan and Madeline.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
